We’re looking for a chef who brings passion to the plate, enjoys working with high-quality ingredients, and thrives in a creative, fast-paced kitchen environment.
Lieggâ Láávu, our cozy and atmospheric fell-side restaurant, is part of the family-owned Saariselkä Ski & Sport Resort. We serve street food with a twist of local Lapland flavors – relaxed, authentic, and full of heart. As a chef in our small but skilled kitchen team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute your ideas, work across a variety of tasks, and help create the special experience that keeps guests coming back.
You’ll be working in a truly unique setting – the northernmost ski resort in Europe – where outdoor adventure and professional hospitality go hand in hand.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Previous kitchen experience (independent prep and service)
- A passion for food, flavors, and creative cooking
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- Fluency in English (Finnish is an advantage)
We value a hands-on mindset and a willingness to learn. Whether you're an experienced chef or an up-and-coming talent, we’d love to hear from you.
As part of our team, you'll receive a variety of staff benefits. We also offer a limited number of shared staff accommodations or can assist you in finding suitable housing.
